Pack Meeting – Scoutapalooza

The theme for our first pack meeting of the year will be Scoutapalooza! Play games and learn activities about Scouting.

Registration: Everyone needs to turn in Registration Health form and check, and more paperwork for some
Pack Camping: 10/20-22: Please register your Scout and your family to the 10/20-22 Cub On at Boulder Creek where our entire Pack will fulfill our camping requirements together! The CubOn registration is at:
Popcorn: If you need popcorn or want a popcorn kit, please let me know and I’ll try to get it to the Pack meeting
New T-Shirt: We have a new t-shirt and if returning Scouts want to buy one, we will have them at the Pack meeting for sale $9/each. New Scouts receive one as part of their registration. T-shirts for new Scouts will be given at your Den meeting.

Agenda: Scoutapalooza 6:30-8:30pm at Sandpiper Community Center Multi-Purpose Room (room straight back from the main doors)
6:30pm-7:15pm Registration, Greetings and Setup – CHECK IN WITH REGISTRATION
– All families (new and returning) need to fill out an online registration form on our website at:
– All families (new and returning) need to fill out and TURN IN a Health Medical Form A&B (we’ll have some at the meeting) but you can find it here:
– All families need to bring a check made payable to “Cub Scout Pack 61” – it is $100 for returning families and $135 for new families
– New families or families who have moved since last year need to fill out a Boy Scout of America (BSA) application form for your Scout found here:
– New families who have an adult who is willing to help watch the boys and take the 15-minute Youth Protection Training Online and fill out a BSA adult application at:

6:30 – 7:15pm Good Turn Collection – A good turn is a donation or good deed. If you complete 3 Good Turns, you receive a Good Turn patch at the end of the Scouting year. Former Scouts – Do you have uniforms or parts of your uniform you’d like to donate for other Scouts to use? Please drop off your hats, shorts, pants, belts, shirts, belt buckles and neckerchief sides if you are no longer using them. Make sure to keep your neckerchief for your shadow box later on!

6:45 – 7:10pm Gathering Activity (time for boys to play/burn off energy) – Led by Den 2
