It may be fall but sailboats will be racing. The next Pack Meeting is the bi-annual Cub Scout Rain Gutter Regatta.
Everyone should have their boats and be building away. Quick tip: glue the sail so it doesn’t pivot.

Registration for new and returning Scouts is well underway, although it’s still not too late to join. Popcorn sales are gearing up, and the year’s schedule is posted here. It must be getting near time for our first Pack Meeting. We’re looking forward to seeing you a bit before 7:00 on Friday the 23rd at Sandpiper’s Community Center. Please remember to bring a spare Halloween costume you might happen to have on hand to donate to underprivileged kids. Pack 61 Scouts gathered Saturday morning, May 27th, alongside hundreds and hundreds of our brethern from throughout the Scouting world, to honor our nations veterans enterred at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno. After meeting early under the Pack 61 sign behind the main flagpole for juice, coffee and morning fare, Scouts heard a stirring speech from 83 year old veteran and former Scout.
