By johnpage, on March 11th, 2012 The big race is almost here. Hope everyone is finishing up their cars. This is a big night for the scouts, one they will remember. Let’s make sure everyone has fun and learns great sportsmanship. Remember you need to register before you race and registration starts at 6PM. Also, come hungry pizza will be served.

Over half the pack turned out to test their cars on the track Friday night. I’m guessing many of the cars that weren’t there were not quite track worthy yet (not that I’m speaking from experience). Cars were looking good, getting tweaked and going faster. Special thanks to Joe Ahn for his great leadership of the event; everything went off like clockwork. Also, a big thank you to Dan Dowling for all his great work helping the scouts work on their cars.
By johnpage, on February 17th, 2012 A Pack 61 tradition. Lots of games, fun and sportsmanship to kick off the winter break! Everyone had a great time tossing bean bags, racing on three legs, ring toss, and racing with a tennis ball between the legs. Fun!

The Blue and Gold Banquet is one of the highlights of the year. It brings together the Pack’s families for a dinner and an evening of fun. The meal is important, but even more important is the warm, congeal atmosphere created as families enjoy each other’s company.
