Join Pack 61 - We welcome all 1st through 5th graders and their families! We do not have a Kindergarten program at this time.
If you are interested in joining Pack 61, please drop by one of our upcoming Pack meetings or grade-specific Den meetings on our calendar. Or send an email to our Recruitment Chair, Kathleen, Cubmaster, or Committee Chair to ask questions.

Application Process
There are two parts to applying to our Pack - Pack Registration and BSA Registration. For new Cub Scout and Adult Leader applications, BSA's online registration will collect the fees for National and our local Council. The Pack collects our own fees.

Annual Fees for 2023-24
The cost of the Cub Scouting program breaks into the following areas:
New Scouts to Scouting = $265
Returning or Transfer Scouts to Pack 61 = $240 (no membership fee)
- $25 BSA National membership fee (one-time fee)
- $80 BSA National annual fee (support program development, online trainings and resources, registration services, and other Scouting resources)
- $80 Pacific Skyline Council annual fee (support 3 Council camp properties, 2 service centers, professional staff, local trainings, and program support)
- $80 Pack fee (awards, badges, certificates, rank neckerchiefs, activities/supplies for Pack meetings, website, and storage)
- OPTIONAL: $15 If you would like your Cub Scout to receive a Scout's Life monthly magazine subscription (has stories, comics, tips/tricks) mailed home
Adult Helpers/Leaders = $120
- $60 BSA National annual fee (support program development, online trainings and resources, registration services, and other Scouting resources)
- $60 Pacific Skyline Council annual fee (support 3 Council camp properties, 2 service centers, professional staff, local trainings, and program support)
- $0 Pack fee (awards, badges, certificates, rank neckerchiefs, activities/supplies for Pack meetings, website, and storage) The Pack does not charge for those adults willing to help lead, organize and volunteer working with our Scouts, it's our way of thanking you!
- NOTE: New Adults will need to have a LiveScan background check and depending on where you go this can cost $30-90 in the area
