Pack 61’s day trip to Angel Island – a fun ferry ride, learning about Asian immigration history at the Immigration Station, a hike around the island, time at a secluded “private” beach, and some great views on the ferry ride back. Hope to see you all on more of these trips as vaccination rates climb.
Scouts volunteering in the annual Scouting For Food drive – this year helping out Samaritan House with the collected food. As a bonus the scouts also helped with the RSCA CERT drill by counting the number of disaster response cards that households had put up on their windows.
A fun way to end the summer with some really creative rockets by our scouts! The scouts experimented with a wide range of strategies, from small lightweight rockets, to serious looking heavy multi stage rockets, and even gliders and parachutes!
